QuickBooks Integration with Salesforce

Every company has its own set of processes and functions performed by multiple applications and systems that are unique to their line of business, but there are times when some of these applications are incompatible and present a tough challenge to the user – how do you make them work together as a harmonious whole?

AppShark offers comprehensive integration services for organizations that rely on a number of incompatible but essential applications and systems to perform vital business functions.

Integration is one of our core competencies and our strong expertise and experience was recently demonstrated when we integrated the

Accounting software, QuickBooks, with Salesforce for a US based NPO client.

The client was using an on-premise version of Intuit QuickBooks for tracking data from projects, products, customers and invoices. Since the data had to be manually uploaded in both QuickBooks and Salesforce, it led to a duplication of efforts and consequently a waste of valuable time. The client approached us for a solution.

Since Intuit’s QuickBooks allows integration with other applications through Web services, using Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), the AppShark team realized that Salesforce could be integrated with the existing on premise QuickBooks application. The final solution provided the client a two-way sync between the existing Salesforce account and QuickBooks database, for a single system. For more details, read the complete Case Study.

The integration not only resolved the issue of duplicate data entry and helped the client save both time and effort, but also allowed the client to handle large volumes of data related to projects, quotes and purchase orders with minimal effort.
