Urgent messages
Don’t rely on email, send urgent messages to desktops and mobiles to ensure that the users get the message when they should.
  • Users may or may not have their email client open.
  • Ubs ensures that a message is delivered to the user’s screen as long as they are logged-in.
  • If a user is not logged in, message can be escalated to SMS*.
  • When a user logs in, any messages that are still pertinent, but did not get displayed to the user, will be displayed.

Deliver messages in the user’s preferred language* and improve message effectiveness.
  • A Message can be compiled in multiple languages.
  • Administrator has the choice of creating the message in each language OR use Google Translate to translate the message.
  • As long as the message is created in all the required languages, the recipients will receive the message in the language of their choice.

Send messages to employees, customers, partners wherever they are, in a timely manner.
  • Users can be in one location or dispersed in different locations (connected via WAN, VPN etc).
  • Message can be sent to selected users and/or groups in-line with organizational hierarchy, departments etc.
  • For field personnel (sales, service etc.), SMS messages can be sent to their mobiles in a language of their choice (gateway provider has to support the language).

Create message delivery and acknowledgement reports for HR, Insurance and compliance purposes.
  • Message delivery can be tracked. A report can be generated to see how many recipients received the message.
  • Users can be required to acknowledge a message. This feature can be useful for insurance and/or compliance purposes.
  • Detailed delivery statistics are tracked that shows how long it took to deliver a message, along with the load it placed on the network.

Select a message type and delivery method based on the content, nature and urgency of the message.
  • Use message skins to change the appearance. Skins can be used to change the color, layout and put corporate branding on the messages.
  • Skins can also be used to indicate message importance – high priority, low priority etc.
  • Use Alerts (that stay on top of all windows) when sending important messages.
  • Use ticker, when sending low-priority messages.
  • Messages can be set to repeat a certain number of times.
  • Messages can be set to expire after a certain date/time.
